Dr. Brian Kennedy holds the following positions: Distinguished Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of National University of Singapore, Director of NUHS Centre for Healthy Ageing in Singapore, Professor Buck Institute for Research on Ageing and Adjunct Faculty at Leonard Davis School of Gerontology of USC. He is also an Affiliate Faculty of Department of Biochemistry of University of Washington.

Kennedy holds a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Biology. His research focuses on understanding the biology of aging and translating discoveries into new methods of delaying, detecting and preventing human ageing, as well as treating associated diseases.

The current research projects in Dr. Kennedy’s lab include system biology strategies to better understand ageing, murine longevity studies, and disease models.

Dr. Kennedy is a co-editor in chief at Aging Cell and has published more than 80 manuscripts, including Cell, Nature, Science, Genes & Development, PNAS, and Science.
