MSD Scientists will Combat Age-Related diseases at the Crick

MSD scientists tackle age-related diseases at Crick

Scientists from the global biopharmaceutical firm MSD will visit The Crick in 2019 to address a variety of age-related conditions, such as Parkinson’s and dementia.

Over the next five-year period, a new team of MSD chemists will be working at The Crick to gain a better understanding of the diseases that are affecting the UK’s aging population.

Scientists will remain at the Crick until MSD opens its new Discovery Science Centre and UK Headquarters in London. The exact location is still being finalised. The scientists’ work will complement that of the MSD neuro-cell biology team, which is already based at the London Bioscience Innovation Centre. Both teams will eventually relocate to MSD’s new centre.
