Unlocking Hayflick Limit – A potential way to supercharge stem cells and reverse cellular aging

Researchers discover how to supercharge stem cells

Researchers from the School of Molecular Sciences of Arizona State University discovered a way to boost our stem cells, and reverse certain aspects of cellular aging.

Hayflick limit

The Hayflick Limit is named after Leonard Hayflick, who discovered it. The Hayflick Limit means that normal human cells cannot replicate indefinitely. Once they reach this limit, they stop dividing and enter senescence.
