There is a Proven Connection between Fewer Protein Errors and Longevity

Fixing protein production errors lengthens lifespan

Researchers at UCL, MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences and UCL have conducted a study on simple model organisms that found that reducing naturally occurring errors (in protein synthesis) improved both health and longevity.

Cell Metabolism published the novel findings that are the first ones to show a direct correlation between less protein errors and longer life.

Lead author Dr. Ivana Bjedov, (UCL Cancer Institute) explained the study: We often hear about DNA mutations that can cause cancer and are considered to be one of the causes of aging.
