Michael West to End Age-Related Diseases in 2019
We are continuing to release the talks from Ending Age Related Diseases 2019, a highly successful two-day event that brought together leading researchers and investors to discuss the future aging and rejuvenation.
In his presentation, The Reversal Of Aging Of Human Cells: Strategis for Clinical Implementation Dr. West discussed differences between germline and somatic cell types, human embryonic regeneration, organisms who do not age and the Weismann Barrier. He also talked about the ways that cellular immortality in humans is suppressed (somatic restrictions), cellular reprograming and the efforts of AgeX to create stem cells for regenerative therapy.
