Tesla plans to increase the installation of its solar roof. However, it must find a way to shorten installation times.
A new patent reveals a solution that involves the production and installation of solar roof tiles as groups.
Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, said at the 2019 Tesla shareholder’s meeting that the company was still testing the longevity of the Solar Roof V3 and they were now installing it in eight states.
