Reactivating stem cells that have aged in the brain

As we age, our neural stem cells become less able to multiply and produce new neuronal tissue, which leads to a decline of memory. Researchers from the University of Zurich discovered a mechanism that is linked to stem cell ageing, and how production of neurons can reactivated.
