What is Rapamycin?
Rapamycin, also known as sirolimus, is a macrolide. This class of antibiotics includes Biaxin(Clarithromycin), Zithromax(Azithromycin), Dificid(Fidoximycin),and Erythromycin. Macrolides are used to treat common bacterial infections. They inhibit the growth and spread of bacteria.
