Forever Healthy and Buck Institute Announce Partnership to Advance Translational Research in Human Rejuvenation
Karlsruhe, Germany and novato CA, USA
The Buck Institute for Research on Aging and the Forever Healthy Foundation announced today a new partnership that will advance the Institute’s early-stage findings which show promise in reversing physiologic ageing in humans. Focus will be placed on cutting-edge research to repair age-related damages at the molecular and cellular level, which is a hallmark of aging. Forever Healthy will invest up to $1,000,000 per year over a five-year period to support this innovation. The funding is intended to accelerate early-stage research that has high translational potential to help speed the transition from laboratory to product.
Michael Greve, a German entrepreneur who pioneered longevity research, founded the Forever Healthy humanitarian initiative. The mission was to accelerate the development of therapies that would slow down the aging process as well as the diseases associated with it. This mission is perfectly aligned with the Buck Institute, which was the first independent biomedical center in the world to focus solely on aging biology.
