We all know that aging is one of the leading causes of many debilitating diseases, such as heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and cancer. The need for antiaging therapies is therefore even more pressing. Salk Institute researchers developed a gene therapy that shows promise in slowing down the aging process of humans. It uses CRISPR technology to edit the genome.
