Exploring Calico Labs – Google’s secret quest to conquer death

Can I live forever with Google? Calico secret lab: Tech giant’s goal to conquer death

Calico Labs is located in Oyster point, a suburb of San Francisco, about an hour to the north of Google. Calico Labs’ steel and glass office is a far cry from its colourful campus, which attracts attention, or its sister company Googleplex.

The name of the company is \”California Life Company\”, but with its lifeless exterior, it’s easy to imagine that it was named after another Calico — an abandoned mining community further down on the Pacific Coast. It is a division within Alphabet’s parent company Google, and has been around for five years. However, its operations are highly secretive.
