Interview with Dr. Kris Verburgh M.D.
Elena and I were fortunate to meet Dr. Kris Verburgh at the Fourth Eurosymposium on Health Ageing in Brussels in November last year. He is a medical specialist who has a special interest in biogerontology, and how this field can revolutionize medicine.
Dr. Verburgh, who is just 33 years old, has written several science-related books. One of them was written at the age of 16, making him Europe’s youngest science author. His other major interest is nutrition. He believes that it is the best way to slow the aging process and give us more time until we reach the rejuvenation era. His latest book The Longevity Code is centered on this topic.
Dr. Verburgh also supports the idea that AI is going to play an increasingly important role in the future of research and medicine, paving the way for a personalized age not too far away. This was one of his theses during the EHA panel he took part in.
